EMPLOYMENT
FINE ART HERALD. Freelance position, entirely flexible in your time and effort, based solely on commission. No sales, though: simply direct RIGHT people to the gallery and receive 1/5 of the gallery commission, which means normally 10% of the retail price (in terms of money, $300 per average sale).
This position is for (1) serious person (2) with real connections in the tiny stratum of genuine fine art patrons. Should (3) love art, have (4) essential knowledge in art history, (5) communication efficiency, and (6) understand the gallery PHILOSOPHY. Must have (7) access to the Internet to keep updated regarding the gallery EXHIBITIONS and CATALOGUE.

ART GALLERY GUIDE (currently NOT available)
In cozy air-conditioned downtown fine gallery, enjoy very exclusive
paintings of International artists, read your favorite books sitting in an
antique rocking chair, listen to the classic or jazz music, play the baby
grand piano if inclined, and guide the occasional visitors.
Compensation $6 per hour plus 3% commission (applicable to sales for new customers). Free private parking.
Should (1) love art, have (2) essential knowledge in art history, (3) communication efficiency, (4) abilities to memorize the gallery MISSION, POLICY and information about the artists, (5) operate CD and DVD players, (6) basic math skills to convert currencies and calculate applicable taxes, if asked.
Should be available from 12 to 5 PM three days a week (We-Th-Fr) from Aug 6 to Oct 31.
