GALA OPENING
Saturday, March 7, 5–8 pm

• young artists exhibited and spoke about their art
• young musician played piano
• young writers presended their book
• young filmmaker demonstrated an animation
• young people met new friends
• parents, friends and teachers cheered the presenters
• seasoned professionals offered useful consultations
• local newspapers took interviews PHOTOS
• adults gave an improvised concert
• everyone was a jury choosing his/her favorite artworks
• hors d’oeuvres, deserts and beverages were served

THE FESTIVAL WEEK
March 8–14

• teachers of music, theatre, literature, filmmaking, etc. were invited to have concerts / presentations of their classes for parents and friends of the students – to use this scene for further promotion and advertising of your art class to the general public of Muskoka
• all visitors of this exhibition participated in Jury Panels selecting their favorite art pieces for Awards. Elke Scholz was the chair of Muskoka Artists' Panel
